Full Job Description

The Customer Care Representative (CCR) is the important first-line of contact with our customers, setting the tone for how policy holders view our company and services; while providing participants with the right information at the right time to help them make better decisions about their insurance issues. Hours are from 9 am to 6 pm.

Essential Job and basic duties:

  • Actively listen to each customer with patience and courtesy
  • Requires excellent communication skills to resolve customer’s claim, billing & service concerns
  • Build customer relationships, earn their loyalty and trust by being polite and helpful
  • Process claims related documentation

Education/Certification:

High School graduate or equivalent.

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of basic Insurance key terms, and concepts.
  • Basic understanding of business service functions.
  • Knowledge of related computer applications.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong typing abilities.
  • Good communication and public relations skills.
  • Well organized and attentive to detail.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Willing to cooperate with and assist others.
  • Able to use PC, printer, phones, and basic business equipment.
